Jessica Laptosky and Matthew Muscella were united in marriage on July 28, 2012, in Cape May., N.J.

The bride is a daughter of Joseph and Katherine Lapotsky, of Mount Carmel, and a granddaughter of Mary Lapotsky, of Aristes, and Helen Hynoski, of Centralia.

The groom is a son of Michael and Norma Muscella, of Pemberton, N.J. and a grandson of Yolanda Friel, of Whiting, N.J.

The ceremony was held on the lawn of the historic Congress Hall hotel and was officiated by Jack Brown, friend of the couple.

Leane Scoz, best friend of the bride, served as matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were Jen Gable, Yvonne Heid and Tara Newman, friends of the bride, and Desiree Muscella and Christina Daily, sisters of the groom.

Junior bridesmaid was Rebekah Daily, niece of the groom.

Madeline Scoz, daughter of the matron of honor, was the flower girl.

Brian Daily, brother-in-law of the groom, performed the duties of best man.

Groomsmen were Blake Gable, Joe Daily, Chris Daily and Eric Friedman, friends of the groom, and Eric Lapotsky, brother of the bride.

Junior groomsman was Joshua Daily, nephew of the groom.

Parker Scoz, son of the matron of honor, served as the ring bearer.

Michael Lapotsky, uncle of the bride, provided a prayer and song as benediction at the reception.

The bride is a 1998 graduate of Mount Carmel Area High School. She earned her undergraduate degree in 2002 and master's degree in 2004, both in speech language pathology from Bloomsburg University. She is employed as a speech therapist in the Ridley School District.

The groom is a 1997 graduate of Pemberton High School, Pemberton, N.J. He earned his undergraduate degree in business adminstration from Central Michigan University and graduate degree in public administration from Bellevue University. He serves as the director of physical plant at Lincoln University of Pennsylvania.
