SHAMOKIN - Nicole Kramer and Christopher Matrey were united in holy matrimony on Oct. 20, 2012, at Transfiguration Ukrainian Catholic Church with the Revs. Mark Fesniak and Ruslan Romanyuk officiating.

The bride is a daughter of Drew and Anne Marie Kramer, of Shamokin. The groom is a son of Guy and Cristie Matrey, of Trevorton.

Julie Ridings, a friend of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Vanessa Lippay, friend of the bride; Lindsay Fanella, cousin of the bride; Sarah Wasilewski, friend of the bride; Victoria Kramer, sister of the bride, and Alexis Santarelli, friend of the bride. Taylor Strahan and Bryn Strahan, cousins of the groom, were flower girls.

Dustin Billig, friend of the groom, served as best man. Ushers were Wesley Matrey, brother of the groom; Timothy Clark and Thomas Miller, cousins of the groom; Justin Ridings, friend of the bride and groom, and Adam Derck, cousin of the bride. Ring bearers were Quinn and Kaden Dunkelberger, cousins of the groom.

A reception was held at the Brady Banquet Hall, and the couple honeymooned in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

The bride earned a bachelor's degree at Bloomsburg University. She is employed as a paralegal for Northumberland County Children and Youth.

The groom earned an associate degree in architectural technology from Harrisburg Area Community College. He is employed as a draftsman.

The couple reside in Trevorton.
