Alicia Lauren Thomas and Nathan Taylor were united in marriage at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010, at St. John's United Methodist Church, Coal Township.

The bride is a daughter of Gig and Diane Thomas, of Coal Township, and is also a granddaughter of Alma and the late Daniel Thomas, of Coal Township, and the late Laura and Edward Grimmer, formerly of Gowen City.

The groom is a son of Thomas and Cathy Taylor, of Coal Township, and is also a grandson of Charles and Cathleeen Eltringham, of Sunbury.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Angelic' Christian, friend of the bride, served as maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Jessica Bridy, Ashlee Lahr, Amy Eagen, Danielle Appel and Amanda Griffiths.

Matthew Taylor, brother of the groom, served as the best man. The groomsmen were Michael Cavanaugh, William Lahr, Jonathan Tobias, Gig Thomas Jr. and Daniel Shingara.

The bride's nephew, Ethan Strausser, served as ring bearer. The bride's niece, Deborah Eggen, served as flower girl.

A reception was held after the ceremony at Masser's Banquet Hall in Paxinos for friends and family of the couple.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of Shamokin Area High School. She is employed at Shamokin Area Community Hospital as an admissions clerk.

The groom is a 2004 graduate of Shamokin Area High School and a 2006 graduate of Schuylkill Institute of Business and Technology, Pottsville, where he earned an associate's degree in architectural drafting. He is employed at Miller Brothers Construction of Schuylkill Haven as a draftsman.

The couple resides in Coal Township.
