SHAMOKIN - Amber Shinskie and Garry Madden, of Shamokin, were united in holy matrimony Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at Mother Cabrini Church, with Father Martin Kobos officiating.

The bride is a daughter of Joseph and Margaret Shinskie, of Severn, Md. The groom is a son of Gary and Bernice Madden, of Coal Township.

Maid of honor was Stephanie Shinskie, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kimberly Kramer, sister of the groom, Tara Moore, friend of the bride, and Brooke Wowak and Tara Kehler, cousins of the bride.

The best man was Adam Campbell, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Randy Eby, friend of the groom, Joseph Shinskie Jr., brother of the bride, Doug Madden, cousin of the groom, and Paul Conniff, friend of the bride and groom.

Flower girl was Emma Kramer, and ring bearer was Landon Kramer, niece and nephew of the groom, respectively.

A reception was held at Indian Hills Golf and Tennis Club, Paxinos.

The bride, a 1999 graduate of Alexander M. Patch American High School, Stuttgart, Germany, and a 2003 graduate of Penn State University, is employed as a purchasing agent at Selinsgrove Center.

The groom, a 1999 graduate of Shamokin Area Junior/Senior High School and Northumberland County Career and Technology Center, is an auto technician who owns Patrick's Auto Works, Coal Township.

The couple reside in Shamokin.
