Jessica Marie Urick and Heath Watson Oberlin
LEWISBURG - Jessica Marie Urick and Heath Watson Oberlin, both of Lewisburg, were joined in holy matrimony at 2 p.m. Oct. 10, 2009, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Lewisburg, with Monsignor William M. Richardson officiating.
The bride is a daughter of Judith J. Urick, who gave the bride in marriage, and the late Paul N. Urick. The groom is the son of Margaret Oberlin and Roger Oberlin.
Matron of honor was Vanessa Lathrop, sister of the bride. Maid of honor was Alyssa Urick, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were sister-in-law of the groom, Amanda Oberlin, and sister of the groom Erin Oberlin. The flower girl was Alyssa Moyer, cousin of the groom.
The best man was Derek Oberlin, brother of the groom. Ushers were John Rhodeback, friend of the groom; Kevin Bowersox, friend of the groom and Paul N. Urick Jr., brother of the bride. The ring bearer was Zachary Paul Lathrop, nephew and godchild of the bride.
The reception was held at the Genetti Hotel and Suites in Williamsport, and a honeymoon will be taken at a later date.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Shamokin Area Jr./Sr. High School and a 2006 graduate of Lycoming College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature with secondary education certification. She is pursuing a master of library scienc degree with school media certification at Clarion University. She is employed as a librarian at Warrior Run High School.
The groom is a 2002 graduate of Mifflinburg Area High School and a 2006 graduate of Lycoming College, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in criminal justice with minors in sociology and psychology. He is employed as a corrections officer at Allenwood Federal Prison System.
The couple will reside in Lewisburg.
