HERSHEY - Tiffany Ann Grimes and Dr. Jed Gonzalo received the sacrament of matrimony on Saturday, June 23, 2012, at St. Joan of Arc Church in Hershey, with the Rev. Brian Wayne performing the marriage ceremony.
The bride is a daughter of Robin and Brett Weis, of King and Queen County, Va., and the late John Michael Grimes, of Chesapeake, Va. She is a granddaughter of Hazel Thompson Full and Eugene Full and Donna Schockley and Joshua Grimes.
The groom is a son of Rose and Jose Gonzalo, of Shady Acres, and a grandson of the late Euphemia and Antonio Gonzalo and Isabel and Victor Roshinski.
Ashley Weis, sister of the bride, and Sarah Southard, friend of the bride, served as maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Jill Gonzalo Reddy, sister of the groom, and Sara Parsons, Robin Crampton, Stacey Shephard, Tracee Tomko, Maureen Cawley and Julie Lawson, all friends of the bride.
Joel Gonzalo served as best man for his brother. Groomsmen were Ryan Splitt, Dr. Rajesh Reddy, brother-in-law of the groom, and Dr. Paul Shea, Dr. Fedele De Palma, Dr. Ethan Ellis, Peter Cheddar, Shawn Jayman and Mike Boyer, all friends of the groom.
Flower girls were Kali Marie and Ava Rose Reddy, nieces of the groom. Readings were done by Nathan Weis, brother of the bride, and Tracey Vann, godmother of the bride.
A cocktail hour and reception were held at the Harrisburg-Hershey Sheraton Continental Ballroom.
The bride is a 2000 graduate of Gloucester High School in Gloucester, Va. She earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Simmons College in Boston in 2005. She then earned her master's degree as a nurse practitioner from Boston College in May 2011. She is currently practicing at Cocoa Family Medicine, Hershey.
The groom is a 1998 graduate of Mount Carmel Area High School. He earned a Bachelor of Science in biology and philosophy from the University of Scranton in 2002, and is a 2006 graduate of the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine, Hershey. He served a three-year residency in internal medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston, and served as the chief resident in 2010. He then completed a fellowship in medical education at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He is currently on staff at Penn State Hershey Medical Center.
The couple honeymooned with a 12-day cruise in the Mediterranean. They now make their home in Hummelstown.
