Galinot - Strunk
Princess Royale Ocean Front was the setting on Sept. 5, 2009, for the wedding of Melissa Galinot and Michael Strunk, both of Norristown.
The bride is a daughter of Mary Carol Snyder, of Forest City and Kevin Gallinot, of Reading. The groom is a son of Debbie and Joe Gubernot, of Paxinos and Robert and Maryanne Strunk, of Scotrun.
The Rev. Sharon Baldwin officiated the 6 p.m. ceremony.
Mallory Gallinot, of Carbondale, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Oliva Strunk of Scotrun, sister of the groom, was bridesmaid.
Dr. Bradley Strunk, of Jesseup, Md. and Christopher Strunk, of East Stroudsburg, brothers of the groom, were best men, and Jim Laval Lee of New York City, was usher.
Stacy Erdman, sister of the groom, was the soloist.
A reception and cocktail hour followed the ceremony at the Princess Royale, Ocean City, Md.
The bride is a graduate of Bishop Hannan High School and earned a bachelor's degree in human development and family studies from Pennsylvania State University. She received her master's degree in social work from Widener University and is a social worker in Philadelphia.
The groom is a graduate of Shamokin Area Middle/High School and earned a Bachelor of Science in biotechnology from Pennsylvania State University and is a production supervisor for Merck Vaccines.
Following a wedding trip to Aruba, the couple resides in Norristown with their boxer Bella.
