Crossley - Tate
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Lauren Jonelle Crossley and Bryan Tommy Tate were united in marriage on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011, at The Firethorne Country Club, Charlotte, N.C. The 4:30 p.m. garden ceremony was officiated by the Rev. David Carl.
The bride, a daughter of John and Dianne (Keiser) Crossley, of Christiansburg, Va., is a granddaughter of the late Paul and Rita Keiser of Mount Carmel, and Mr. and Mrs. John F. Crossley Sr., of Allentown. She is also a great-niece of Margaret Linetty, of Wilburton No. 2.
Lauren is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with dual bachelor degrees in clinical psychology and nursing. She is employed by the Blumenthal Cancer Center in Charlotte, N.C., as a surgical oncology nurse specialist.
The groom, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Tate, of Forest City, N.C., is a grandson of Carolyn McCartha, of Forest City, N.C., and the late Glenn and Helen Scoggins, of Forest City, N.C. He is a graduate of Western Carolina University with a bachelor's degree in business. He is employed by Norandex, Charlotte, N.C., as a sales leader.
Kelly Crossley, of Rock Hill, S.C., was her sister's maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Melissa Yost, sister of the groom, of Lexington, N.C.; Shea McCormack, of Columbia, S.C., and Amber Corbi, of Atlanta, friends of the bride.
Tommy Tate, father of the groom, was the best man. The groomsmen were John Yost, brother-in-law of the groom, and Chris Pisano and Nick Wiesner, friends of the groom.
Immediately following the ceremony, a reception was held in the dining room of the country club.
The newlyweds honeymooned in Antigua and reside in Charlotte.
