Cress - Chucoski
SHAMOKIN - Kelly Ann Cress and Ian Christopher Chucoski were united in marriage during a double-ring ceremony at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009, at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church,
Officiating at the ceremony was the Rev. Dennis Grumsey.
Guests were greeted by book attendant Becky Deitrick, with music provided by soloist Brian Christiana and organist Erik Seidel.
The bride was escorted down the aisle by her father, Anthony Cress. She is a daughter of Ann Cress, of Coal Township, and Anthony Cress, of Shamokin.
The groom is a son of Linda and Rick Gonzalez, of Coal Township, and the late Daniel Chucoski, who lived in Mount Carmel.
The bride chose Amanda Cress, of Coal Township, her sister, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Tanika Gonzalez, of Coal Township, sister of the groom, and Nicole Erb, of Harrisburg. Emily Erb was the flower girl.
The groom chose Danny Chucoski, of Catawissa, his brother, as best man. Groomsmen were Tevin Gonzalez, of Coal Township, brother of the groom, and Bradley Erb, of Harrisburg, cousin of the groom. Ethan Erb was the ring bearer.
A beautiful fall day was the setting for a reception of 150 guests at Ponduce Farms, Elysburg.
The happy couple took a week-long, all-inclusive honeymoon to the Riviera Maya, Mexico. They now reside in Coal Township.
The bride is a graduate of Shamokin Area High School and Luzerne County Community College.
She is employed as an administrative assistant by the Shikellamy School District.
The groom is a graduate of Shamokin Area High School and Penn State University.
He is employed as a sales representative at Sunbury Motor Company.
