Mark Anskis Jr. and Lindsay Carpenter were united in marriage June 24, 2012, in Sea Bright, N.J. The ceremony, performed by the Rev. Paul Mayer, was at Windows on the Water at the Surfrider Beach Club.

The bride is a daughter of Ray and Julie Carpenter, of Manasquan, N.J.

The groom is a son of Mark and Nancy Anskis, of Elysburg, and a grandson of William and Annette Anskis, of Paxinos, and Rose and the late Paul Polifka, of Wilburton.

Alicia Anskis, sister of the groom, and Kate Carpenter, sister of the bride, served as maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Courtney Lippincott, Kristen Poore, Tricia Campbell, Collette Dusko and Shannon Burns, friends of the bride. Emma Podobinski, daughter of the best man, served as flower girl.

Michael Podobinski performed the duties of best man. Groomsmen were Keith Jeremiah, Daniel Hauer, Ryan Coleman, Jared Brown and Chris Honecker, friends of the groom.

Readings were performed by Marissa May, cousin of the groom, and Kay Linger, aunt of the bride.

The groom is a 2002 graduate of Our Lady of Lourdes Regional High School, Coal Township, a 2006 graduate of Susquehanna University and earned a master's degree in communications from Temple University, Philadelphia. He serves as director for athletic communications for Swarthmore College, Swarthmore.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of Wall High School, Manasquan. N.J., and a 2008 graduate of Susquehanna University. She holds a master's degree in special education from LaSalle University, Philadelphia. She is employed as a Spanish teacher for the West Chester High School, West Chester.

The couple enjoyed a romantic honeymoon in Costa Rica, and now reside in West Chester.
