A daughter, Sophia Rose Fantini, was born to Jason and Mandy (Brzoslowski) Fantini, of 69 S. Sport Lane, Locust Gap, at 7:36 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, at Geisinger-Bloomsburg Hospital. The baby weighed 8.1 pounds, and was 20 1/2 inches in length. Paternal grandparents are David and Cathy Fantini, of Mount Carmel. Maternal grandparents are Michael and Robin Brzostowski, of Mount Carmel. Paternal great-grandparents are Genieve Tomb, of Altoona. Maternal great-grandparents are Glenn and Roberta Timmins, of Mount Carmel. The baby joins a brother, Mason.
