A son, Kaden David, was born to Mr. and Mrs. David M. Brown, of Mount Carmel, at 9:37 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2011, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. The mother is the former Megan Kornacki. The baby weighed 8 pounds, 1 ounce, and was 21 1/2 inches long. Maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Kornacki, of Mount Carmel, and Mr. and Mrs. Bart McCollum, of Mount Carmel. Paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. David E. Brown, of Trevorton.
