A son, Gabriel Francis Hopple, was born to Mr. and Mrs. Zachary Hopple, of Shamokin, at 11:08 p.m. Dec. 3, 2012, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. The mother is the former Jennifer Rovito. The baby weighed 8 pounds, 8 ounces and was 21 1/2 inches in length. Grandparents are Sam and Patti Rovito, of Kulpmont, and Lynette and Clark Bainbridge, of Phoenixville.
