A son, Devin Riley Payne, was born to the parents of David Lee Payne and Nicole Amber Thompson, of Danville, at 9:11 p.m. Jan. 22, 2012, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. The baby was 6 pounds, 2 ounces, and 20 inches in length. Grandparents are Barbara and Bernard Pronick, of Shamokin, and Donna Haley, of Shamokin.
