A son, Bryer James Schwartz, was born to Haley Hogarty and Colby Schwartz, of West Cameron Township, at 3:54 a.m. Jan. 5, 2012, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. The baby weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces, and was 21 1/2 inches in length.

Grandparents are Lisa Hogarty and Stan Yegal, of Trevorton, Mike and Danette Hogarty, of Elysburg, Mindy and Jeff Lagerman, of Trevorton, and Jim and Denise Schwartz, of Shamokin. Great-grandparents are Anita Lagerman, of Trevorton, and the late France Lagerman, Frank Hogarty, of Shamokin, and the late Carol Hogarty, Jerry and Joette Deppen, of Dalmatia, and James and Janet Schwartz, of Trevorton. Great-great-grandmother is Arlean Deppen, of Pillow.
