A daughter, Rowen Appel Hauer, was born to Daniel J. Hauer and Chelsie L. Appel Hauer, of Elysburg, at 10:31 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. The baby was 8 pounds, 11 ounces, and was 21 inches in length. Paternal grandparents are Steve and Kerry Appel, of Elysburg. Maternal grandparents are Bob and Lonnie Hauer, of Shamokin.
