A son, Jacob Daniel Meyer, was born to Scott and Brooke (Bamford) Meyer, on Jan. 17, 2013, at University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center, Towson, Md. The baby weighed 7 pounds, 8 ounces and was 22 inches in length. Maternal grandparents are Terrie and the late Daniel Bamford, of Paxinos. The baby was born on Daniel's birthday. Paternal grandparents are Rod and Sherry Meyer, of Dunkirk, Md. Arlene Maurer, of Elysburg, is the baby's great-grandmother.
