A son, Adam Christopher Jr., was born to Mr. and Mrs. Adam Purdy, of Sunbury, at 8:16 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 8, 2009, at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg. The mother is the former Laureen Brinkash. Maternal grandparents are Michael and Maureen Brinkash, of Locust Gap. Paternal grandparents are Cindy Purdy, of Northumberland, and T. Chris Purdy, of Sunbury.
