TREVORTON - Mr. and Mrs. Albert Lagerman Sr., of 727 W. Coal St., celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner at La Primavera with their family, and then went on a cruise to the Caribbean.

The couple were married March 21, 1964, in St. Patrick Church, Trevorton, by the Rev. Joseph Gotwalt.

Mrs. Lagerman, the former Bertha Miller, graduated from Trevorton High School, and retired from the food service department at the Trevorton Elementary School after 29 years of employment.

Her husband is also a graduate of Trevorton High School. He retired from PPL in 2001 after 35 years of employment.

They enjoy traveling and especially taking cruises. They also enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren.

The Lagermans are parents of three sons, Albert and Ginger Lagerman, of Herndon, Jeffrey Lagerman, of Herndon, and Michael and Michelle Lagerman, of Wernersville. They have six grandchildren who are their pride and joy, Mara and Jesse Snyder and Kelsey, Madison, Noel, Nicholas and Makayla Lagerman.
