SHENANDOAH - Lindsay Sachleben, of Arch Street, Ringtown, and Eric Haupt, of Upper Road, Shamokin, were united in holy matrimony on July 24, 2009, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Shenandoah. Monsignor Bernard Flanagan officiated the ceremony.
The bride is a daughter of Ray and Arlene Sachleben, of Ringtown. The groom is a son of Lambert and Carol Haupt, of Shamokin.
Samantha Snyder, sister of the bride, was the matron of honor, while bridesmaids were Melissa Decusky, cousin of the bride; Sherry Sachleben, sister-in-law of the bride, and Kristi Klaus, Katie Halko and Ashley Miller, friends of the bride. Olivia Haupt, niece of the groom, and Sophia Sachleben, niece of the bride, served as flower girls.
Dave Reeder, cousin of the groom, served as best man. Ushers were Josh Sachleben, brother of the bride; Ryan Snyder, brother-in-law of the groom; Todd Haupt, brother of the groom, and David Taylor and Nate Sulham, friends of the groom. The ring bearers were Ethan Haupt, nephew of the groom and Nicholas Sachleben, nephew of the bride.
Readers were Stephanie and Brady Haupt, niece and nephew of the groom. Greeters were Matthew and Andrew Haupt, nephews of the groom.
The reception was held at the Danville Elks and the couple honeymooned on a cruise to Alaska.
The bride is a graduate of North Schuylkill High School and Bloomsburg University, where she received a Bachelor of Science in nursing. She is employed as an operating room nurse at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
The groom is a graduate of Shamokin Area High School and Penn State University, where he received a bachelor's degree in engineering. He is employed as a project engineer for Allen A. Myers of Worcester, Mass.
The couple resides in Elysburg.
