WILKES-BARRE - Amber A. Burcha and Peter J. Goodeliunas Jr. were united in marriage on Saturday, June 6, 2009, at Saint Mary's Church of the Immaculate Conception, Wilkes-Barre, by the Rev. Msgr. Thomas V. Banick.

The bride is a daughter of Andreen Burcha and Richard Hannon, of Sheatown. She is a graduate of G.A.R. Memorial High School.

The groom is a son of Peter and Rose Goodeliunas, of Kulpmont. He is a graduate of Mount Carmel Area High School and works for Newtown-Slocomb, Wilkes-Barre.

Burcha was given in marriage by her brother, Michael T. Hannon. Alison Drozdowski, of Wilkes-Barre, friend of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Patty Benjamin, aunt of the bride, and Brandy Schaffer and Rebecca Wrobel, cousins of the bride, all of Wilkes-Barre. Kaede P. Goodeliunas, daughter of the bride and groom, was the flower girl.

James Tweedy, of Kingston, friend of the groom, served as best man. Friends of the groom Kevin Schaffer, Brad Joseph and Fred Vito, all of Wilkes-Barre, were groomsmen.

Music for the ceremony was provided by organist Mark Ignatovich. A reception was held in the Tiffany Ballroom in the Ramada Inn at Wilkes-Barre with DJ Mike Walton providing entertainment.

The couple will reside in Wilkes-Barre.
