GORDON - John and Lisa Snyder, of Gordon, and Ted and Tammy Mench, of Shamokin, announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Snyder, to Jeff Merwine, son of Timothy and Barb Merwine, of Lavelle.

The bride-to-be is a 2005 graduate of North Schuylkill High School and a 2009 graduate of Lebanon Valley College, Annville. Her fiance is a 2005 graduate of North Schuylkill High School and a 2009 graduate of Dickinson College, Carlisle.

A May 2010 wedding is planned.
