A daughter, Ava Grace Kurtz, was born to Steve and Dawn Kurtz, of Paxinos, at 10:59 a.m. Friday, Oct. 16, 2009, at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg. The baby weighed 7 pounds, 7 1/2 ounces, and was 18 inches in length. The mother is the former Dawn Cawthern. Paternal grandparents are Jeff and Kathy Kurtz, of Paxinos. Maternal grandparents are Ned and Linda Cawthern, of Easton. She joins brothers Conner and Carter.
