A daughter, Allison Lynn Knoeppel, was born to Robert Knoeppel and Tanya Bixler, of Shamokin, at 10:52 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 11, 2009, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. The baby weighed 7 pounds, 1 ounce and was 20 1/2 inches in length. Maternal grandparents are Darlene Snyder, of Shamokin, and Thomas Bixler, of Shamokin. Paternal grandparents are Marianne and Paul Knoeppel, of Catawissa.
