Mary and Nicholas Kolar Sr.

PHILADELPHIA - On May 9, a party was held to celebrate the 62nd wedding anniversary of Mary and Nicholas Kolar Sr. The party also celebrated the 90th birthday of Nicholas, who was born on May 5, 1919.

The couple was united in marriage on May 10, 1947, at St. Mary's Catholic Church (now Holy Angels) in Kulpmont by the late Msgr. Joseph Petrovitch.

Those attending were family and relatives. They are proud parents of three sons, Louis and Madeline (Szoke) Kolar of Red Lion, Nick and Barbara (Zaborney) Kolar Jr. of Winchester, Va. and Robert of Albany, N.Y.

They have six grandchildren, Tara Kolar, Katherine Morrison, Tricia Kolar, Kelley Kolar, Elizabeth Kolar and Stephen Kolar.

Mrs. Kolar is a daughter of the late Louis and Barbara Arnoldin. Mr. Kolar is a son of the late Lucas and Mary Kolar. He is a retired pipefitter of Local 520 in Harrisburg.
